Sad Lads Magazine
Sad Lads Magazine was the first project I presented at Infocus, and it was an intimidating challenge, especially since I had never used InDesign before. From the moment the assignment was introduced, I knew I wanted to channel my love for music—particularly the emo genre, which I find to be an underrated yet beautifully tragic form of expression that deeply resonates with me. My vision was to create a zine with a polished, professional feel, aimed at introducing readers to lesser-known bands and new music. I believe that the journey of discovering music is a uniquely personal experience, placing you in an exclusive club that you share with others who have embarked on a similar path from different places. Music is the bond that unites the scene, built on mutual love and respect, and with this project, I wanted to celebrate and share that connection. You can download the file below!
